Spokeswoman for the ipad2

In 2010 the Apple family proudly admitted the ipad into our legacy of cutting edge, top of the line, techno-savvy products. We received rave reviews from customers and critics alike and needless to say, sales were remarkable.

However, at Apple we pride ourselves in bringing something new to the table, taking the next step and developing an amazing line (macbooks, ipod, iphone, ipad to name a few) that would cater to the needs of our customers. In so doing we refine and revolutionize technology.

Without further ado, I introduce to you, the ipad2.

(Retrieved from http://www.apple.com/ipad/features)

This tablet was sold out mere days after premiering on the market with 70% of ipad2 buyers being new to the whole ipad experience. To some this may be a tad confusing but allow me to explain.

In addition to being "Thinner, lighter and faster", this technology has 2 cameras. One in the front and one in the back. This makes the ipad 2  ideal for face to face chatting and video conferencing as it enables the user to switch cameras so the person with whom they are communicating can see the surroundings. Two words. Innovative and Interactive!

To survive in 2011 means that you have to be a multitasker and the ipad 2 makes it so much easier. Our dual core processor allows users to do twice the work at once. So, you can surf the web, check your mail, read ebooks at once. Multitasking is smoother and hassle free.

Apps? users have thousands to choose from! But, if none tickles your fancy, we offer full flash support that enables you to develop advanced apps.

Gamers! we did not forget you! We have improved our graphics and its now nine times better than that of the ipad 1. There is higher resolution and a much greater storage capacity. Still not enough? We have included a SD slot for extra external storage.

But, how are we able to give you a thinner and lighter product?
We were able to decrease the size of the battery from 2 thick cells to three thinner ones whilst increasing the energy density making it 10-15% more power efficient.

We also eliminated the plastic support frame and replaced the metal sheet frame with a more flexible and durable glass layer making it easier to read ebooks and articles on the ipad2.

The ipad2 is indeed a phenomenal gadget that is just right for you.

GETTING THIS ONE IS A MUST

CEO, Apple Inc.

Hey, Melaine here. As CEO of this company, it is my esteemed honour to introduce you to our latest invention ... THE IPAD 2. As a woman of perfection, we here at Apple wanted to ensure that we gave our customers the best there is to offer. The iPad 2 is the most innovative we can get right now. Sleek and light, this piece of equipment is guaranteed to please any human being, whether you be a business person, a street vendor, a student or just our everyday tech junkie who just so happens to collect such items.

Regardless of who you are, the iPad 2 is much more innovative.

What do I mean by innovative you might ask?

Well for one, the iPad 2 is muccccch faster. And it is also thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

It now has cameras on both the front and rear. Who wouldn’t dig this?

I won’t even stop there. The iPad 2 is also loaded with many apps like the previous, but there are some new additions. These include two of our iLife apps: GarageBand and iMovie, costing $4.99 a piece.

Garageband is a carbon copy of the popular music-making program from the Mac and it even more capable of what the desktop app could do. The iPad 2 now becomes a musical instrument and Garageband allows you to layer tracks together to produce songs. For the musically-challenged, there are ‘smart instruments’, which are designed to sound good together. Even more interesting, is the use of the accelerometer to determine, with surprising precision, how hard you’re pressing the keys on your keyboard or banging your drum.

Then there’s the iMovie app, which uses the extra screen real estate of the iPad to offer a well-equipped video editor. It’s designed for the touchscreen and the controls are very simple but there’s some very powerful options for those who know what they’re doing. While not for everyone, We here at Apple Inc. can see both these apps becoming essentials for a lot of people.

Regardless of the fact that the iPad 2 can hold thousands of apps (65,000 to be exact); the great joy in this is that these apps will run faster too, thanks to the A5 dual core processor. The new iPad runs up to twice as fast and graphics performance is nine-times faster. Some of these applications include Safari, Mail, Photos, Video, YouTube, iPod, iTunes, App Store, iBooks, Maps, Notes, Calendar, Contacts, Camera, Photo Booth, and Spotlight Search; several of which are improved versions of applications developed for the iPhone, or of applications for the Mac.

There are several other additions. There’s the HDMI-out accessory that allows you to mirror your iPad’s screen on your television, for example, and the addition of a gyroscope that allows the iPad 2 to match the iPhone 4’s gaming capabilities.

Now about the iPad cover. Many of you were complaining about the original cover and we listened. We NOW introduce the iPad 2 SmartCover. Hooking magnetically onto the side of the iPad 2, it covers the screen and closes with a reassuring click - magnets again - putting the device to sleep as it does so. Peel it back and the device wakes up. Meanwhile, the cover folds underneath to create a stand. Throughout it all, the beauty of the iPad design remains visible. The Smart Cover costs £35 in polyurethane and £59 in leather but I guarantee the iPad 2 doesn’t feel complete without one.

Finally, there is a white version now available. At £399 for the basic model - 16GB and wifi-only - it’s hard to resist, though those with a bit more to spend should consider the 32GB model with WIFI and 3G (£579). The extra storage is worth it and cheap 3G plans mean you have the option of using the iPad when WIFI is unavailable. Those who travel a lot will want a 64GB model so that they can carry a selection of films.

After all of that – Why wouldn’t you wanna buy the iPad 2? Spend a little, you deserve it.

Is the IPad2 the solution?

So, I  currently have an Acer AspireOne Netbook and let me tell you, it has certainly served my needs on a basic level. However, as I get more and more intertwined in my job, I realize that this netbook is no longer up to my speed. Ironic, huh? But here's my problem: I want a nice sleek gadget, powerful, light-weight, easy to understand and interact with (as technology and myself aren't exactly friends -.-), and just fully functional. You know, something that's worth the money. So, what's the solution?

At one point, I had an ipod touch, but it was too small for me to comfortably work with. But I was satisfied with the user interface, and just the fact that it was an apple product. :)
The other day, I found out about the IPad2 and I began to do my research. In my mind, I wondered, "Why would they need to come out with an IPad2?" "What sets it apart from the IPad1?" "What are the benefits of spending my hard earned cash on something that looks like it can break in an instant?"

Based on my research, however, I'm only able to acknowledge the fact that like other technological upgrades, the software utilized is more advanced than the one before it. But anyways, here are my findings: (IPad vs. IPad 2)

So, I got this info from a great Wikipedia website that has the most concise description >.> of the IPad:
The iPad (pronounced /ˈaɪpæd/, EYE-pad) is a line of tablet computers designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games, and web content. Its size and weight falls between those of contemporary smartphones and laptop computers. The iPad runs the same operating system as the iPod Touch and iPhone—and can run its own applications as well as iPhone applications. Without modification, and with the exception of websites, it will only run programs approved by Apple and distributed via its online store.

Like iPhone and iPod Touch, the iPad is controlled by a multitouch display—a departure from most previous tablet computers, which used a pressure-triggered stylus—as well as a virtual onscreen keyboard in lieu of a physical keyboard. The iPad uses a Wi-Fi data connection to browse the Internet, load and stream media, and install software. Some models also have a 3G wireless data connection which can connect to HSPA data networks. The device is managed and synced by iTunes on a personal computer via USB cable.

Here's the description of the IPad 2: (wiki as well)
The iPad 2 is the second generation of the iPad, a tablet computer designed, developed and marketed by Apple Inc. It serves primarily as a platform for audio-visual media including books, periodicals, movies, music, games and web content, and is available in black or white. The Foxconn-manufactured iPad 2 has a lithium-polymer battery that lasts up to 10 hours, a new dual core Apple A5 processor and VGA front-facing and 720p rear-facing cameras designed for FaceTime video calling. The iPad 2 currently runs iOS 4.3.1, a similar system to previous iOS versions. The 4.3.1 system fixed bug with the graphics on the iPod touch, bugs related to activating and connecting to some cellular networks, authenticating with some enterprise web services. The iPad 2 includes a new A5 processor and front and rear cameras. Several components were made smaller to fit the new iPad.The iPad can play audio in mono using its built in speaker, or if attached to the Apple Digital AV Adapter, it can output Dolby Digital 5.1 stereo surround sound. Its frequency response ranges from 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz.
There are four physical switches on the iPad 2 (same as 1st generation iPad), including a home button near the display that returns the user to the main menu, and three plastic physical switches on the sides: wake/sleep and volume up/down, plus a third which, for either screen rotation lock or mute. Business Insider states that the home button on the iPad 2 is "easier to double tap" than the previous generation of the iPad.

Apple has reduced the size of the iPad by eliminating the stamped sheet metal frame from the display, integrating new thinner glass technology for the touch screen overlay, and slightly reducing the space between the display and battery. The iPad 2's screen is thinner, lighter, and yet stronger than the original iPad's.
he revised tablet adds front- and rear-facing cameras, which allow FaceTime video calls with the iPhone 4, fourth-generation iPod Touch and Macintosh computers (running Mac OS X 10.6.6 or later with a webcam). The 0.3MP front camera shoots VGA-quality 30 fps video and VGA-quality still photos. The 0.7MP back camera can shoot 720p HD video at 30 fps[26] and has a 5x digital zoom. Both shoot photo and video in a 4:3 fullscreen aspect ratio, unlike the iPhone 4, which shoots in a 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio.

I'm liking what I see, and based on various reviews I've read as well as gotten from persons that are close to me, the IPad 2 seems like the better buy :). Of course there's more information but I think it's senseless to copy all since I got it from wiki. All that's left to say is that I'm sold!!

IPad 2 is clearly the solution for me. Upgrade to my professional look plus a real eye-catcher with the hawt layout an ting :). Yupyup, me likey! If you wish to dispute the facts (-.-) don't even bother.
